Sekyeong Shin - Production Designer, Concept Artist
During my time at Wimbledon, I had many opportunities to design and express myself with number of film, TV, theatre, and minor projects. This course has exercised my set design skills for variety of stages and extended my visualization skills. I had to interpret, research, and respond to source materials, visualizing it through conceptual drawings or photos, technical drawings and model making. Through this process, I gained lots of multifarious ideas for every different project. I have developed specific skills during the course which are 3D computer program and technical drawing. And I also got professional knowledge about film and theatre from various kinds of seminars. I have challenged myself during 3 years, pushing my own creativity further than ever before in Korea, thus developing my interest in conceptual artwork as well. It has been a great achievement for me, academically and personally. I feel confident and happy with what I have learned at Wimbledon last 3 years.
