In my final year I have based my main project around a stop motion animation film in which I have come up with the story line for, developed it with a drawn out story board, photographic story board and an animatic and have also come up with concepts for it, a technical drawing and lots of test pieces running up to the finalised finished film. When watching films like Nick Park’s ‘Wallace and Gromit’ and Tim Burton’s ‘The Corpse Bride’ film it has really captivated me in seeing what you can produce in with what seems such a simple technique. This year I have decided to go into that technique and develop my skills within it in with in making this film. Stop motion has been something I have always been interested in as it can help you to produce amazing effects in films and I believe it something I would like to use in the future in helping me to produce and develop my own films while trying to takes these films to festivals like The Cannes film festivals and the Rushes London.
