Paula Hankin - Production Designer
When it comes to describing myself, I never seem to be able to write what I’d like to say, so here it goes. I am a huge fan of the arts, anything which allows people to express themselves or to be creative, I enjoy. There is nothing better than seeing a good film, play or even live music. I am a very sociable person, and I find that music, film and theatre is always best enjoyed with friends and family. My influences vary from famous artists such as, Gustav Klimt and Andy Warhol. To famous directors such as Tim Burton, Guillermo Del Toro and Baz Lurhman. Film, rather than Theatre has always been my main focus; I love the idea of seeing pieces of art that I have designed on screen which can be seen by everyone. I have an ambition to work with my favourite directors, and to see my name on the credits of an award winning film. It seems to appeal to me more than having a painting of mine hung in a famous gallery.

Specific Skills: I am able to design Set and Costume for stage a screen. In order to present my ideas clearly, I am able to create storyboards, animatics and scale models. I have some experience in Stop Motion Animation and Film-making.
