Helen Bailey - Costume Interpreter
My background before Wimbledon is fashion based but my ambitions lie in costume for film/T.V. My particular interests are in Dyeing and Distressing, Millinery, Surface Decoration and Accessories. I would like to develop my tailoring skills further and gain more of an insight into costume prop making. I am fascinated by the relationship between costume and character, which enables the audience to become absorbed into the whole ambience of a production. My passion is in bringing history to life through costume and I find great satisfaction in seeing something come together to a professional standard. I am eager to gain further experience which will give me better foundations for succeeding in my chosen career.
